CIB-A-Kits – Identification of animal specific DNA including DNA isolation
CIB-A-Kits allow the isolation and identification of species-specific DNA in food and feed, and pharmaceutical raw materials and products. If the products contain PCR capable DNA, animal specific PCR fragments will be synthesized. The identification of specific PCR fragments is carried out without further investigation steps directly after the PCR in agarose gel electrophoresis by comparison of the synthesized sample with parallel control PCR amplificates. Specific PCR fragments are synthesized only if the samples contain the corresponding DNA. With the DNA of other species of food relevance, no PCR fragments synthesized.<br></br>A confirmation of the PCR using restriction cleavage is possible.
