Detection of genetically modified organisms / ingredients (GMO screening)
The PCR technique is used to detect genetically modifications of the same type which occur in different genetically modified plants. This way genetically modified components can be detected in a product without identifying individual plants. If necessary, the exact plant origin of GMO positive samples can be examined, too.
GMO analysis will be carried out exclusively with official PCR methods according to § 64 LFBG and SLMB Chapter 52B!
