In addition to the analytical service and our product line another focus of attention is the development of new methods for molecular biological studies.
We develop for you:
1. New DNA isolation methods (Sample preparation for PCR)
It is our profession to develop and apply matrix and analyte optimized DNA isolation procedures (e.g. DNA from lecithin, hydrolysates, glucosaminoglycanes, gelatin, etc.) with improved sensitivity and specificity of DNA analysis. For this purpose we have developed a flexible, modular system for the isolation of better DNA yields and qualities.
Optimized DNA isolation procedures allow improvement of sensitivity
Current standard procedures can be used in a wide range of samples (like tissue, blood etc.) even though these methods are not suitable for difficult samples with low concentrations of DNA or many inhibitors. Our modular DNA isolation procedure is developed for the adaptation to the respective sample matrix. This technique leads to reproducible and optimal DNA yield and quality. Especially processed products often contain only small traces of DNA which require high demands on the DNA-Isolation procedure. Our procedures prevent that the subsequent PCR analysis provides negative results due to false DNA isolation.
Removal of inhibitory ingredients
Many products contain accompanying components (inhibitors), which are not removed by standard DNA isolation procedures. For subsequent PCR analysis these DNA preparations usually must be high diluted to compensate inhibitory effects. However, in consequence requested parameters (e.g. allergens) often can not be found. We have developed special buffers and physicochemical methods to remove such inhibitors. This way a dilution of the DNA is not necessary and subsequent PCR tests can be carried out by maximum sensitivity.

In recent years the development of specific PCR methods has increased rapidly. Particularly the establishment of real-time techniques improves the sensitivity down to one DNA copy.We develop the testing system you need.
